Weekend Announcements

October 18 – Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time

We are delighted to welcome back Fr. Mark Jurzyk! At the request of the Diocese, Fr. Mark has agreed to return to Corpus Christi Church for the goodness of the Diocese and the goodness of the parish.
There will be a second collection for World Mission Sunday. This year's theme is "One in Christ, united in mission." Pope Leo reminds us that evangelization is a work of love, baptism unites all believers as one family, and every baptized person shares a responsibility for the mission.
After Mass, please stop by the Bake Sale sponsored by the Council of Catholic Women. Beautifully decorated and delicious treats are waiting for you in the narthex. Buy and take some home and support the ministries of the CCW.
The Knights of Columbus are asking us to lend our support to our local Veterans living at the DuPage Care Center. You can help in one of three ways: (1) Pick-up an Adopt-a-Vet gift form, (2) make a monetary contribution, or (3) buy a store gift card. After Mass, please visit a Knight in the narthex.
An All Souls' Day Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated on Monday, November 2 at 7 pm. To remember a recently deceased family member or friend at this Mass, please submit the form found in the bulletin or contact the Parish Office.

We wish you a blessed weekend!

See the parish bulletin or our Facebook page for more information on all of these events and happenings.
